WHAT TO DO DURING THE WEE HOURS OFF THE NIGHT

Hi guys,
This is the first topic given by my friend. Pennie gave a suggestion in her previous comment, she asked "what to do during the wee hours". There you have it, the first given topic of mine (and of course many more given by friends).

It's late at night, parents are asleep, friends are not answering their phone and the cricket sounds just outside the window. Looking at my clock tick by the seconds, a thought leaks slowly out.. "what the hell can i do?!?!?"

Enough with the crap, alright, it's the middle of the night and early morning, the first thought would be to grab the remote control and start surfing the tv. Maybe catch a movie or some comedy on Star World, or even one of my favorites, catching a travel channel program. In fact, nowadays since the Euro is on, we might be able to watch a live telecast.

Well, for those unlucky bros out there without Astro, and have around five channels, I gotta say, I feel for you guys. Well, the other option is to get online. Surf the web, read blogs, friendster, myspace or whatever. Maybe some might like some midnight porn (you sick perves) , but I would not recommend that. Have you heard of "Kawanster" (need I say more) ? Or if you get really bored , a chat website would be an interesting to do. Maybe go pick up some awek from "kampungchat". basically, just fuckin' surf the web if you are bored. the web is a whole dictionary, just waiting for you to explore it.

Ok, I hear some of you guys, don't have internet access at home. How bout listening to music? Maybe grab a magazine or story book? Or even play your favorite musical instrument.

Or you can always take example from me, and do what I do best, SLEEP. Just go to sleep if you have got nothing to do at night. after all isn't that what we are suppose to do at night?

To conclude my mindless opinion, what to do during the wee huors of the night? Sleep, sleep, sleep and snore like a pig.


Alright then, I am really sorry if i have just wasted 5 minutes of your life from reading this, but hope it's ok.

UNIVERSITY LIFE

Hi guys,
This would be the first topic this typical Malaysian brain is gonna process and fingers gonna type it out just the way it is. The topic for the night is UNIVERSITY LIFE.

To all adik-adik out there, who watched teen-flick shows like "American Pie" or "Road Trip" and is looking forward to entering college to mencuci mata, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but if you happen to end up in any of the university awam, you are gonna consider going back to the guru disiplin's rotan on your butt. Seriously, that is less painful then the pang of truth when you enter uni life just to see, that it sucks just as when you being chased around for ponteng'ing classes in school. Let me tell you, all those shows misslead you, and give you false hope of unis in Malaysia. However, for rich ass kids, yang bapak kaya sangat tuh, private college or overseas, should be, ain't that bad.

Now thats just the first impression of uni life.

Sadly, the second, ain't good either. Remember the times when your parents gave you hope, that uni life is easier? Well, well, you guessed it, its all another illusion. Tests, quizzes, finals, cgpa, 90% attendance, all those stuff add up to uni life. Good luck balancing all in just merely 4 months. This factor applies to all uni students ( even the rich budak-budak ). However, the good news is that, the lecturers are there to help us out.

Honestly, uni life ain't that great after all. Its just the same as school (except we might get a pich bit more of freedom). But you do get to meet people, and learn more knowledge, and we all know how much we love to learn, study and crack our minds even more, don't we.

To wrap it up, university life ain't that bad. Its worth a shot, but remember to keep an open mind and don't have set your hopes to high. Nanti kecewa.

From a rating of 1 to 10, i give uni life a 5, for all the news things we are exposed to and all those broken dreams of living the "american pie" way of life.

A LIL INTRODUCTION

This is just a lil intro to what I have to offer in this blog. I will be giving out reviews, previews and opinions of anything you guys want (ie; vehicles, holiday destinations, drinks, makan shops, etc etc). It may sound a bit senseless, but I am sure that is what's going on in your head.
